Had this on 2015-10-04 at the brewery on tap.
A - Opaque dark brown with 1/2 finger brown head and decent lace.
S - Cherries, cola, chocolate, med-dark roasted grain.
T - Dark chocolate, dried cherries, dark roasted grain with some char. Malt and alcohol sweetness for balance. A nice bite of hop resin and bitterness enhances the roasted finish.
M - Heavy body and light carbonation. Thick and rich.
O - Very impressive. This could be an award winner in beer competitions. Compares favorably to a Sierra Nevada Narwhal.
