Undated crowler received from @woodychandler last week poured into a mass krug at fridge temp 6.8% ABV per handwritten label. The beer pours barely hazy orange amber in color with very light khaki head. The head recedes to a thin ring and small island. The aroma is toasted bread and faint earthy hops. The taste is semisweet toasted malt with little hop presence before a barely bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to thin bodied, adequately carbonated and semi dry in the finish. Overall, good. This is a nice beer. It generally fits the style and has no glaring flaws or defects.

Had this on 2016-05-07 in Columbia, PA at the brewery on tap.
A - Clear gold-orange with a short white head and good lace.
S - Dry fig and cracker
T - Honey. Toasted white bread with fig jam, light banana and clove. Pleasant but mild.
M - Medium body and light carbonation. Good feel. Lightly syrupy.
O - Really a fine example of the style. My companion compared it favorably to Stoudt's Maibock, which just won the
Gold award in the 2016 World Beer Cup. High praise indeed!
