Had this on 2016-05-23 in Columbia, PA at the brewery, on-tap.
A - Pretty clear, dark brown with a 1-finger tan head and nice lace.
S - Roasted malt and plenty of crushed hop buds.
T - Roasted grain and a touch of chocolate. As the sweetness diminishes the hop bitterness increases nicely. Finishes very dry with an acerbic roast/chocolate finale.
M - Light-body and medium carbonation.
O - Impressive flavor for 5%. More on the IPA side although there are some Porter flavors present. Well done.
