Had this on 2016-10-22 at the brewery on-tap and later in the day from a fresh growler.
A - Dark gold, shading to amber. 1.5-finger white head and nice lace.
S - Grapefruit flesh, biscuit and hop floral. On the milder side but very pleasant.
T - Ripe, red grapefruit flesh sprinkled with sugar and a touch of spice with a graham cracker on the side. There's a zesty bitterness that lingers but never overpowers. I think the balance between the fruit, grain and bitterness is spot on for a Pale Ale.
M - Medium body and carbonation. Smooth at first, then dry and refreshing.
O - This is a really good beer. I wonder if any actual grapefruits were harmed in the making of this brew? Best Pale Ale to date from CKW.
