Had this on 2016-11-12 in Columbia, PA at the brewery on-nitro.
A - Opaque deep-dark brown with a 1/2-finger tan head and nice lace.
S - Bourbon, vanilla, medium-roasted grain. Appealing
T - Bourbon, dark roasted grain with some char. Vanilla, dark chocolate, light coconut and earthy spice. Appropriate balancing bitterness. Quite tasty.
M - Medium body and light carbonation. Smooth and creamy although not thick.
O - The bourbon barrel aging and serving on nitro compliment the already-good base beer. Not as magnificent as the Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout, but it's nice to have this much flavor with about 40% less ABV.
