Had this on 2017-05-20 at the 3rd anniversary celebration at the brewery
A - Opaque dark-brown/black. Short tan head and little lace.
S - Dark roasted grain, black coffee, whiskey.
T - Dark roasted grain, semi-sweet chocolate, light tannin, expresso latte. The alcohol sweetness from the whiskey barrel mitigates any char characteristics. The roasty bitterness in the finish provides good balance.
M - Medium-heavy body and light carbonation. Smooth, creamy feel before it dries.
O - This is really well done and certainly a 3rd anniversary treat.
