Had this on 2017-08-05 at the brewery on tap. This is a "Smoked, Caramel Porter brewed by Chris Stolz the winner of the Smoked Beer Challenge.
A - opaque dark brown with a one-finger light brown head and very good lace
S - decadently Rich semi-sweet chocolate, light roasted grain. Vanilla. I'm not getting a smoke aroma. Smells great though.
T - chocolate, medium roasted grain, vanilla, caramel and a light touch of smoke but not char. Mildly bitter.
M - Medium body and carbonation. Smooth at first then dry.
O - A very fine beer. Seek this out.
