Had this on 2018-01-04 at the brewery and an hour later from the fresh growler.
A - Clear gold with a 1-finger white head and very light lace.
S - Biscuit, honey, floral. Sweet and pleasant.
T - Much like the aroma. Lightly toasted sourdough biscuit with honey. Grassy and herbal (cinnamon?) spice. Pleasantly-mild bitterness in the finish provides just the right balance.
M - Medium body and carbonation. Smooth with some sweetness on the tongue before drying out.
O - You don't see this style on tap very often and this is a well-done example. Tasty, subtle, easy to drink; hence the growlers to go! Compares favorably to Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold.
