750 ml bottle into pint glass. Pours an oily, opaque black with a minimal tan head. Initial impression is bourbon up front, with roasted malts, dark fruit, and oak. Mouthfeel is just a little on the light side for a high-ABV RIS (at least as far as my personal preferences are concerned). Finish is boozy and slightly bitter. This is a really good RIS -perhaps not my favorite for the style, but an extremely competent effort.

Had this on 2018-09-22 at the brewery on tap.
A - Opaque dark brown with a short tan head
S - Rich, rich, rich. Toasted raisin bread, vanilla, plum, bourbon.
T - Dark chocolate, some char, caramel, dried cherry, vanilla, oak, moderate bourbon. Toasted and hop bitterness in the finish moderates the sweetness.
M - Thick body and light carbonation. A little sticky.
O - Excellent Russian Imperial Stout. Well done.
