Undated crowler received from @woodychandler last week poured into a pokal glass at fridge temp 7.6% ABV. The beer pours mostly bright medium brown in color with light brown head. The head recedes to a tiny island of bubbles within minutes. The aroma is nice with dark toasted multigrain bread, some caramel sweetness and faint cocoa. The taste is more of the same with just the right (slight) amount of sweetness before the toasty, bready, rich malt taste takes over. Minimal bitterness, but not cloying. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, lowly carbonated (I'm not docking due to the packaging) and mostly dry in the finish. No off flavors or flaws. No apparent alcohol. Overall, very good. I would not hesitate to have one of these on tap.
