A collaboration with Rose Hill Farms (Red Hook, NY) - a spontaneous co-fermention, equal parts Plan Bee wort & Rose Hill's pressed apple juice aged in red & white wine barrels. Sharp crisp apple, high acidity, and effervescent.

Poured from a bottle (5/13/19) into a small stemmed Plan Bee glass
L: pours a light gold, minimal white head. Quite effervescent
S: nice light funk, a bit of apple cider to it but minimal
T: torn on this, taste was meh to start but I’ve liked it more as it’s warmed. Big issue is I’m not getting the apple flavor I expected. Have only had one other similar beer (Graff by Ale Apothecary) and that was much more rich and cider-y. Overall more like standard plan bee barn beer, which isn’t bad just not what I expected
F: well carbonated, good body quite refreshing
O: not bad, but doesn’t deliver quite the flavor I expected
