I haven't tried this brewery's flagship IPA without adjuncts but I really like this variant. Coffee had a freshly Ground, assertively roasted aspect and it played nicely with the IPA base. I enjoyed the bitterness of this beer, the hoppy IPA side isn't softpedaled. Very dry with a lingering aftertaste. At this point we've likely all tried at least one coffee IPA, this one stood out for bright freshness and controlled aggression.
