330mo bottle poured into tulip glass
L - jet black with a good sized tan creamy head. Head disapates quickly.
S - leather mixing with hickory chips, roasted malt and raw coffee, smokey ham smell is kept to a minimum
T - smoked, burnt flavours come in and out, with strong espresso , liquorce and roasted malt become more noticable toward the finish
F - light bodied for a stout, creamy texture, abv is well hidden
O - pleasing combo - more of a stout than a smoked beer - should be a good entry level introduction to smoked beers rather than jumping into a schlernkerla or Feral Smoked Porter.
