33cl can (€5 from the pub fridge).
Session India pale Ale 4.4% brewed by Birra dell'Eremo in collaboration with the Roman clubs Luppolo 12 and Luppolo Statio, So Good and HopPork.
Hops used in different phases: Galaxy, Sabro and Azacca.
On the nose notes of tropical and summer fruit pulp (peach, fresh plums/plums, pineapple) and citrus (ripe orange).
Versta produces little foam which soon reduces to a superficial film.
Light straw colour, very clean, almost completely transparent except for a light background veil.
Very light body in the mouth, with minimal but pleasant carbonation in the background.
The taste is that of summer: white peach, melon, passion fruit, ripe orange.
Typical light malty note (light bready/light toasted note) of the beers of this important Italian craft brewery.
The finish is decidedly drier than bitter. cleans the tongue, leaving room for fruity notes (above all the taste of ripe citrus remains) on the palate.
Simple, fresh, fragrant and not very bitter beer.
