Best by 03/23/19, Poured into a snifter.

Deep cherry oak in color. Delicate lacing around the glass with good strength, leaving a broken, thin off white head. The aroma is a beautifully moderate beechwood smoke. Vanilla, booze, and richly sweet spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. Flavor is much as the aroma foreshadows: rich, smokey malt with notes of cinnamon/nutmeg all enveloped by a vanilla-forward burst of alcohol. Smooth, clean mouthfeel with a body that stands up to the tequila aromas and flavor. I was a bit skeptical with this particular style being aged in tequila oak barrels, but I was wrong. Really creative and extremely flavorful.
