12 oz. Bottle
Best By: 03/03/23

Poured into a Tired Hands glass a pretty nice clean/clear dark copper color, with some pretty nice carbonation, with a thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which also leaves nice some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, hoppy, bready, yeasty, banana, caramel. The taste is pretty nice malty, hoppy, yeasty, bready, with some banana, a pretty nice sweet caramel note. Medium body, ABV is hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty beer. A pretty nice thirst quencher.

Bottle. Beautifully clear copper with lasting head and lace. Raw honey aroma with some grass. Very sweet as expected with cereal and honey and earthy herbal medium finish. Light but sticky. Not a fan of the style. Still a good beer.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle with a best by date of 08/30/19. Sampled March 11, 2019.

The pour is an attractive looking amber brown with an off-white modest head that fades but not entirely.

A bounty of aroma including sweet caramel malts, fruitiness akin to pear and cranberries, a touch of coriander, and a floral note.

Medium and smooth body.

The flavor begins sweet and malty with a twist of fruit and then it evolves into a mild to moderate bitter finale. Enjoyable.

Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass.

Pale orange, with a nice dark amber color for the body. Fairly good glow, and slightly opaque. Pale off khaki head color and slightly a finger that quickly dissolves to a fine puck.

Aroma is a nice small caramel, a bit of toast character that comes put like a nice brown to brand flower. Clean classic aroma and pretty much malt forward.

Flirts with a little wet palate, but has crispy light body. Flavor is of very good toast, almost crispy flour of brandy and light caramel on first sip. Hints a nice light clove character on the finish , even a touch peppery. Much of the flavor seems to hit a little light just in general. Touches a bit of nutmeg nuances also and simply clean.

Pretty interesting palate for a Vienna, just wished it didn't have a hair of wet character.

Pretty much no head, hazy burnt orange color

Nose sweet malt, little candy reddish biscuity toasted malt, touch fruity

Taste quite sweet, toasted reddish slight biscuity malt, sweet caramel toffee, touch fruity, big earthy herbal grassy bittering hope, big lingering bitter earthy herbal hop finish mild sticky sweet

Mouth is med to lighter bod little soft lager, decent carb

Overall this was not much of a Vienna lager, maybe some of the malt profile was right but way too sweet, and hops went way overboard way too hoppy
