16 ounce can - $4.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours an orangey-gold body with a bit of haziness. Initially lofty, airy, white head.
Smell: A fresh, welcoming orangey citrus note amidst the honey-brushed crisped wheat and a buzz of floral phenolic spiciness.
Taste: A firm jet of wheat, touches of grainy dough and sweetish honey. Turns a bit spicy, a skosh peppery as the citrus orange twang is invoked and a hint of pear rolls in. Finishes refreshingly crisp but also has some creaminess to it.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation.
Overall: A tiptop white. I, for one, can't wait to see what the good folks at Spencer Brewery come up with ne--oh, whoops. Nevermind.

Appearance: Cloudy light amber, thick fluffy white head with great retention
Aroma: Estery, with bubble gum, floral, orange peel
Flavor & After Taste: Orange peel, spicy, bubble gum, slight bitterness
Mouth-feel: Full bodied, moderate carbonation, dry.
Overall: This is quite outstanding, and it's not even a super fresh sample. Good looking pour, exhibiting very good head and retention. Quite floral on the nose up front. Hits all the marks, orange peel, spices, easy drinking. Has a pretty highly carbonated bite to it. Would really love to try a fresher sample. First class.

Nose is very floral. Color was copper and slightly cloudy. Head was frothy and white that took a bit to dissipate. Taste is very floral and clean. Excellent Witbier.

One of the problems with experiencing the best of the delicate nature of beers like Witbier is that the more authentic Belgian-brewed ones loose their freshest qualities on route to the U.S. and American made versions usually lack the authentic touch of those European varieties. But that dilemma is over with The Spencer Brewery.
Simply named White, their Witbier kicks off with a foggy, slightly milky pour of lemony yellow with a billowing white crown in tow. As an appetizing perfume of coriander and orange peel waft from the foam, so does a soft malt scent of sugar cookie, fresh dough and wafer. Sweeter to start, the early impressions circulate around the slight doughy sweetness and cereal flavors that bring the palate back around to sugar cookie and vanilla wafer.
As the creamy ale washes the middle palate, the perfume turns to citrus flavors as the hops, spice and natural esters intertwine with the flavors of green apple, lemon, pear and orange. Trending soft with spices, the coriander teams up with the yeast spices for hints of white pepper, vinous spice and a curious suggestion of cumin.
Malty-dry, crisp and still pillowy in texture, the smooth and rounded nature of wheat beer seems to provide a crisp, refreshing and surprisingly snappy finish. With a crisper water profile, the beer shines a late light on a calm spicy bitterness and crisper tone than most beers of its style.

Can. Gold with light haze and lasting head and a little lace. Not as cloudy as most whites. Nice light orange coriander aroma with some wheaty tang. Medium sweet peachy honey with wheaty tanginess and medium light coriander bitterness in finish that matches well with sweetness of malt and orange peel. Medium body soft and lively. Excellent and extremely refreshing.

Different Wit #100! Cloudy golden amber with a huge head. Aromas of orange peel, wheat, belgian yeast, lemon zest, flowers and pear esters. Taste is much the same but has the lemon be an ester instead of zest, and big bubble gum fills any void. Feel is sunny, wheat centric with a yeasty and estery finish, and creamy, very well made. Very nice witbier

Nice floral and orange notes on the nose, spice on the palate with a smooth refreshing finish. This American Trappist brewery continues to expand their offerings and the addition of a wheat beer adds diversity. Where other Trappist offerings focus on the traditional, Spencer makes it fun. This beer is refreshing and tasteful while hitting the right notes in smell and taste for a Belgian style beer.

Canned 03/19/21. Pours a slightly opaque yellow with a fluffy head. Quite enjoyable, creamy mouth feel - nicely done wheat ale by the Trappists. I'd buy this again.
