this beer is awesome, one of the best american made beers in this style i have had, extremely authentic, and downright delicious. absolutely no doubt the best beer i had at kokopelli. its hazy and not super yellow, more muted in its luster and radiance, but with as big a head as any wheat beer could have, tall and puffy and white and lasting long. it smells great too, the perfect intersection of banana cream notes from the yeast and then the fresh cerealy wheat malt. just lovely. it tastes a lot like it smells, with the fruitiness of the yeast being subtle and far more well rounded than the one dimensional banana types that sometimes seem cheap and forced to me. not so here, this is dialed in, and the yeast is what makes it. white peach and white grape seem to be there as well in the complexion behind the banana. its super refreshing too, with a high level of carbonation and medium body that finishes clean. its not overly complex, just traditional and very well done. this was leaps and bounds better than anything i have had from colorado in its field. not super hard to do, but i think far too uncommon. i loved this beer.
