Tap at GQue. Thin head with big bubbles. Aroma of rye, pine needles, closed when cold. Palate of medium plus bitterness and intensity of pine tree, rye, bread, cinnamon, vanilla a little lemon, but little complexity and a short bitter hip finish. I'm unsure why the alcohol is 6.8 on a pale ale but it's pretty well integrated with just an alcohol warm and subtle rich medicinal taste with finish. Pros intense, good hoppiness, bitterness (68ibu). Cons lack of complexity/length, medicinal alcohol finish, not a sessionable pale ale. 82/100.
