A dark, rich, and complex winter warmer. Notes of a bitter chocolate, fig, plum, and tobacco resonate through a bold and fulfilling mouth feel. Sure to inspire a welcoming warmth even on the coldest of days.

Had on tap at the brewery, 10oz
Om arrival a thin, but fine & dense tan to brown head was present. Pitch black body. Sticky & fine lacing forms.
Aroma is soft and bready with a roasty chococoffee thing going on, bit for the ABV this smells very mellow and laid back. Slight noble hop spiciness.
Taste is at first quite bitter after the mellow character of the aroma. Comes off Like an American stout with some big, sweet, figgy, malt character. The size of this beer starts to show, but without getting intense.
Feel is smooth and very full with a velvety feel in the mouth. The abv and a bit of attenuation show on the finish, with a warming sensation in the the chest, as well as an alcohol dryness, but not quite booziness.
Overall this was nice to drink and a bit of a surprise. Darker than most "winter warmers" verging on a stout, but it doesn't come off as a big stout. The size showing is actually what pushes it onto the style.
