Barrel Aged See'n Dubbel

This beer has really picked up it's chardonnay notes from the barrels it was aged in. There is a slight malty, bready taste in the background, but mostly tastes of the chardonnay. Maybe a little too much. It does set out to do what it intends to, and does it well, however, if you're expecting a beer with that bread and malt flavor, this may put you off at first. Not bad by any means, but slightly off-putting to the unexpected taster.
