Crisp & bright, slightly sweet notes of cereal are balanced by earthy hop bitterness. Beautiful lacing weaves a story on your glass.

Had on tap at the brewery.
On arrival a nice fine bone white 1.5 finger head was present, which slowly dissipated to a relatively thick cap that leaves some nice lacing rings. I wonder how this would look out of a can or bottle into a true pils glass, as the pour at the brewery comes in a Edelweiss monogrammed glass that is thin at the bottom then grows into a bowl with a flared rim. Strange glass choice but to be fair it looks good. The body is the right color: straw yellow, but there is a bit of a haze, which for the style unfortunately docks a point.
Aroma is traditional spicy pils with noble hops providing some aroma, leading to an herbal savory hop note backed by a nice and clean crackery lager. Decent and right on style. It's also mostly clean.
Taste is good. Light bitterness and a crackery almost biscuity maltiness that isn't too sweet. The noble hop bitterness and spiciness comes through nicely, which is quickly followed by a nice clean and traditional malty finish.
Feel is right on style as well. Carbonated and not heavy at all, with a dryness coming in quickly. Despite that the flavors stick around for a medium long finish. Great crisp drinkable feel on this pils.
Overall I'm pretty impressed. I didn't have high hopes for this brewery based on their ales from abouta year ago, but their ales have improved, but this is my first time trying one of their lagers, and it is very clean and traditional, not to mention refreshing.
