Had on tap at the brewery.
On arrival 1 finger of dense off white head was present. Body gives a slightly hazy look with a deep amber color. Some lacing forms.
Aroma isn't the cleanest, and there is a strange, verging on boozy, bright Aroma. Sort of reminiscent of tequila, but I don't think it was intentional. Funky and sweet.
Taste has some of the funk upfront, but it quickly settles into a nice malty and nutty character that I would expect from the style. Definitely bright and has a slight sour vibe up front however. Not the most lager-y lager ever.
Feel is surprisingly crisp and easy to drink with a relatively quick finish, but just enough full malt feel. For the ABV this is crisp.
Overall that Aroma really throws me off and hampers enjoyment of this beer. Tha kfully it doesn't continue carrying off notes elsewhere.
