L: Pours a very clear yellow gold with hues of orange and a small white head with no lacing around the glass.
S: Sweet honey, notes of corn chip, a floral to slightly skunky hop.
T: Sweet honey, a bit of apple, notes of corn chip, a floral to skunky hop, very easy drinking.
F: Smooth carbonation, light body.
O: This is a very nice summer beer.

i always kind of forget about these guys, but i have liked their beer pretty well, and i like this one too. not exactly what i am used to in a cream ale, far maltier than the style usually gets both in feel and in flavor. it doesnt have that clean dry finish that i like, its not crisp, but it is full of flavor, almost has elements of an english pale ale to it on the grain and yeast sides, especially when it warms up a little bit. as such, as a cream ale, it isnt great, but when i just enjoy it as a session beer, i like it a lot more. there is a really cool floral and botanical note to this at temperature, i think dandelion right away, bitter and polleny, green and healthy, natural and unique. it might be from the hops, maybe even partly from the yeast, i dont really care, its yummy. i would like this to have a little more carbonation and snap to the finish, but the flavors are quite good. these guys kind of fly under the radar here in colorado, but i think their beer warrants some praise. this is a weird take on the style sure, but drinkable and interesting with that dandelion note it has. anyone else pick up on that?
