The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that slid off extremely quick. No lace. The aroma had some rugged roasty coffee beans, dark chocolate nibs and a little bit of earthiness. The flavor was moderately roasty, an ample amount of bitterness came in underneath. Slight roast in the aftertaste. Crisp little finish. The feel was roughly about medium bodied, perhaps a touch under. Pretty rugged roasty sort of abrasiveness along my tongue. ABV felt appropriate. Carbonation felt fine. Overall, good for what it was, but I saw "chocolate" in the name and thought there would have been a bit more.
