The appearance was a black color with an off white foamy white head that slid off at a moderate pace. Mild stringy lace. The aroma had some soft sweet coffee creamer trying to blend with some sweet meat, sly smokiness and then a weird semi-saltiness to it, acceptable but it made me think. The flavor started sweet through the blend of the coffee creamer and sweet meat. Delicate tones of milk chocolate came in to lean towards a sweet chocolate to meaty aftertaste which I did like. Finish was slightly sticky, but acceptable. The palate was about medium bodied with a sipping sort of quality going on because of the saltiness and the smokiness. Carbonation felt fine and so was the ABV. Overall, pretty good beer, perhaps for personal preference but boy, was this guy different or what. Yes, a little bit of a palate wrecker and a beast.
