The appearance was a rugged burnt orange close to brown color with no head nor lace. The aroma had some ginger, allspice, nutmeg and clove up front playing against the pumpkin fleshy sweetness that wanted to come out. Some light caramel/toffee malts lean in on the background. The flavor had the spices at the forefront beating back the malt presence. Some butterscotch seemed to come out just a little bit. Sly aftertaste of the spices. No finish. The feel was between light and medium bodied leaning to more of a sipping quality about it. Carbonation played decently with the spice, adequate harshness but not invading. ABV felt fine. Overall, a nice Fall sipper, possibly able to come back to.
