A cloudy orange-ish straw colour with slightly active carbonation and a rapidly dissipating head of tightly packed white foam.
Mild aroma, appley, and bright; also a bit reminiscent of a hefeweisen.
Flavour is good, tart and thirst quenching. Strong notes of citrus and green apple, more subtle notes of lemongrass, peach, and wheat. Sour flavours at the fore, while bitterness is almost absent.
Smooth, soft mouthfeel, just a bit of pep in the carbonation.
Overall, a very tasty sour beer for summer. My first beer from Green Leaf, and it makes a pretty good first impression.
