Can to English pint glass.
The appearance was a ruddy dark amber/brown color with a slight transparency about it. A beautiful foamy level eggshell white head sat there for a good minute before taking it's time to dissipate. Mild concave lace.
The aroma blended finely between caramel, toffee, mocha and malted chocolate balls. Subtle wafer/vanilla biscuits play with some grassy hops.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side cleanly and distinctly through the malts. The hops are all secondary. In turn, the aftertaste lingers with some clean malts.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping to sessionable quality to it. Good carbonation. Very smooth all around and finishes with a brisk clean caramel maltiness.
Overall, a very nicely done amber ale well worthy of coming back to.

From the 16 oz. can. Sampled November 10, 2018.
Nice looking reddish-amber tone under a big tan head that fades to a ring. Moderate clarity.
The aroma has a notable sweet caramel malt sensation but there's something else in it that I cannot pin my finger on. Something that reminds me of vanilla but not exactly. Low hop profile.
About a medium body.
The taste is sweet and crackery with a semi-dry finale.

From a 22 oz bottle, not dated, to a tulip glass.
Look of deep brown with mocha-cream head that clings to the glass.
Smell underwhelms.
Taste is malty with a bite of hop bitterness that follows.
Noticeable tang to the feel, which improves the drinking experience.
Overall, a good winter beer.

In a pint glass this beer was an amber color with just the hint of haze. There was a medium-sized tan head that left a bit of lace.
It had a grassy hops aroma with some sweet malt.
Caramel taste, earthy hops.
Medium-bodied, nice combination of malt and hops.
I'm not a huge fan of amber beers, but this one worked well for me.
