From an undated 16 oz. can but it is the 2025 batch. Sampled Oct.19. 2025.
The pour is a fabulous dark brown to near black with a boisterous tan head,
The aroma is all about coffee and dark toasted malts with very little suggesting it is a pumpkin spice brew,
Medium mouthfeel.
The taste is sweet, milky, and dark with just a hint of cinnamon if I really think about it. It's a lovely milk or coffee stout but I don't get much of anything pumpkiny about it.

Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a deep brown, nearly black color with a tiny fizzy head of brown foam. The head fades almost instantly, leaving just a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is rather intense of a deep dark roasted malt smell mixed with a good showing of coffee and quite a large presence of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Along with these smells comes a bit of sweetness with some milk chocolate, vanilla, and brown sugar along with a bit of molasses and cola. There a also some char and a bit of toast adding to the dank. For a pumpkin brew the pumpkin is very light on the nose, showing just a slight presence.
Taste – The taste starts strong of a big roasted and toasted malt flavor mixed with some sweetness of molasses, brown sugar, and a bit of sweet creme. The spice in the nose is ready detected right from the start with a decent showing of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and clove. Just as was in the nose, the pumpkin is rather light upfront, very subtle in nature. As the taste advances it gets deeper and darker as some of the sweet fades a tad and with the increase in some coffee and dark chocolate. A touch of char comes on toward the end, with a bit of the sweet coming back along with some vanilla, leaving one with a rather dense, moderately spiced dark stout taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is quite thick and heavy with a light carbonation level.
Overall – A bit light on the pumpkin, but big on the other flavors. Fun to try, but I don’t know that I would come back to it again.

Moderate beige head which lasts throughout the tasting. Deep, dark brown color where the faintest of light passes.
Dense raw pumpkin smell with a modicum of "Halloween" spices (nutmeg, all spice, cinnamon). Clean aroma with a light darker malt touch.
If I were blindfolded, I don't know if I would think this is a stout. Granted, there's plenty of darker malt but the pumpkin is much stronger, followed by the aforementioned spices. Decent body with a below average carbonation. The aftertaste is mostly the spice--I think it's more like cardamon here. It lingers a long time with the deeply toasted malt making an appearance.

Had on tap. Pours clear, brown in color with minimal head. Taste is big coffee, light pumpkin pie. Heavy bodied, low carbonation and roasty. Too much coffee taste, overwhelms the pumpkin. Hard pass.

Bomber poured into stemware.
Appearance: Very dark brown/black with a short cream head.
Aroma: Nice sweet stout nose. Malts, coffee, roastiness. Doesn't smell like a big wad of sugar.
Taste: Very tasty, roasty stout. Notes of roasted pumpkin seeds. Chocolate. Black, or almost black, coffee. Vanilla. There was also a vanilla note going on in the not-pumpkin version of this.
Mouthfeel: Decent body but not heavy. Easy drinking. Smooth. Desserty.
Overall: I bought this mostly because it sounded like a phenomenally misguided idea and I wanted to see if they could make it work. Well, they could. Mostly just a really solid sweet stout. The pumpkin and confection notes are just that - notes. It doesn't taste like eating pumpkin pie and a whoopie pie and drinking a beer all at once. That's a good thing.

22oz bomber from Brewery: This one pours a pretty much opaque black color. There was a small tan head. Nice aroma. Pumpkin, spices, coffee and a touch of roasted malts. Taste is good. Chocolate, pumpkin, spices and some roastiness. A bit of sweetness. Nice.

Not bad, just not enough pumpkin and more than enough spice for me.
