Pours a clear, pale amber coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smells of biscuity malt, grapefruit and a hint of pine. Taste follows the nose, with biscuity, slightly caramel malt and citrus hops. Notes of grapefruit and lime, with a light herbal, floral, grassiness and a hint of pine. Finishes with a very light bitterness and a certain floral sweetness coming through in the aftertaste. Light/medium body with medium carbonation.
With its lightly resinous character and notes of grapefruit and pine, this is probably supposed to be a west coast IPA. While ok, it's somewhat let down by a light, slightly watery body and poor balance of flavors. Too sweet and floral, without enough bitterness and resin/pine for balance. Saved by nice citrus notes, this is all right, but far from great.

From Decervecitas. In Teku glass. Playing Chronicle of Innsmouth. Lots of fresh citrusy notes, very smooth -and fairly dense for the abv- body that makes it ultradrinkable, some herbs and pleasant bitterness
