Farum 24/11 2018. 200 cl bottle with swing cap from Meny, Bryggervangen. Shared with two friends. Dark blue and red label to keep it in the homey Christmas spirit.
Pours slightly hazy amber with big white head. Settles as 5 cm thick frothy layer of foam. Massive lacing.
Aroma is quite sweet, malty and bready. Distinct odor of chestnut. Moderate presence of bitterness.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, Soft texture. Bordering on being flat.
Flavor is fairly sweet followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter and lingers for a bit.
A bit flat on the sweet side but decent Italian take on a Christmas Beer.
