16 ounce can, canned 10/13/22, thanks to Brutaltruth for this can! Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a somewhat clear brown color with a slight reddish tinge. There's also a few inch light tan head that I had to let settle down before I poured the rest of the beer into the glass. Head retention and lacing are both pretty good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like nuts, toasted malt, honey and some grassy hops. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also a slight tart berry flavor noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating and easy to drink with a good amount of soft carbonation. I'm sure this would have been better when fresher. I've been to Lock 27 a couple times before and have liked the brews there so I would like to try a can of this again sometime. Just seemed to be something a bit off about this one but even then it's a decent enough brew.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This very nice brown pours a medium amber
tinged brown with a nice head of white foam that dissipates to a thin ring, thin
light layer, and displays some nice lacing. Nose of honey sweet malts, toasted malts,
and faint hops. Flavors shine! Toasted malts, subtle toffee, faint coffee, honey,
and grassy / bittering hops. Mouth feel is medium, smooth, medium light
carbonation, and a toasted malt and balanced bittering hop finish.

Overall, this is a mighty fine brown ale like I have not tasted in years.

SOLID!

Cheers

I'm trying this at the Centerville location. It poured a clear rich amber with no head and no lace. The scent had faint sweet malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to with good caramel malt base and some slight roast presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

On tap at the Dayton location.
Clear bright copper colored body with a good white head.
Malty aroma.
The flavor is lightly sweet with a load of malts. Toffee notes dominate. Good balance.
Smooth medium full body with medium light carbonation.
