It's Always Sunny in Dayton is a Citra hopped Pale Ale. A citrusy explosion hits your nose and is quickly followed by flavors of bright orange, grapefruit & mango. The perfect pale ale to give your sticker eating buddy who doesn't like "those hoppy beers".

A: The beer is slightly hazy light yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. it poured with a quarter finger high frothy white head.
S: Light aromas of lime citrus are present in the nose along with hints of orange.
T: The taste starts out like the smell but transitions to notes of mango and orange. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and has some refreshing properties. I particularly enjoyed the contrast of citrus and tropical fruits.

I tried this beer at the Centerville, Ohio location as part of a four sample fight whilst in Dayton for my Bestie's 50th Birthday celebration. It poured a slightly hazy copper with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had subtle bitter citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base, grain, and bitter citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with subtle carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.

Purchased as a six-pack from the Lock 27 brewery for $9.99. Poured into a nonic pint glass.
L - Slightly hazy bronze with a quick-to-dissipate one-finger cream head. Laces nicely.
S - Citron rind, juicy grapefruit, and honey. Hints at a malt layer here...
T - Flavor follows nose, with the addition of mango peel. Grassy notes come to play on the back, and ends with an almost lemon flavor. Honey and barley create the malty foundation, but it's pretty weak. Alcohol flavor present.
F - Lightly carbonated, full body, and - despite it only being 5% - pretty boozy.
O - I'll be honest, I only purchased this because I greatly enjoy the name of it. Anyhow, this comes around to being a very average IPA-like beer. I say this only because it technically isn't an IPA, but it tastes, feels, and smells like one. It isn't exactly refreshing, nor is it filling. This makes it out to be a wonderful beer to pair with bar food, to compliment poutine, burgers, or even the occasional loaded nacho platter. Otherwise, no lasting impressions other than the seemingly forced citrus approach. This beer comes dangerously close to being a "hop bomb", with the only thing limiting it from becoming one is the relatively average [for the style] 40 IBU. This all being said, I can picture a "Dayman" character sipping this stuff.
