Tasted at the Grey Horse Inn, Manchester. It's run by the Hydes brewery and is also one of the last two remaining 18th century "Tavern"-like buildings in the centre of Manchester, which also happen to be the two smallest pubs in town~~ Served on handpull with a sparkler.
A: pours a dark orangey amber hue, coming with a very tight frothy head (surprise, surprise~~) against a minimum fizzy body.
S: lightly citrussy hops thread through the fruity and juicy pale malts... very straight forward the aroma is.
T: semi-sweetish malty body rests on a very thin citrussy hoppy backbone' light and fruity at the back of the palate, leading to a slightly dryish finish with a slight tannic touch of hops.
M&D: reasonably smooth, a fruity bitter, just in place--yet boring.
