Now this is a review of the slightly inferior nitrogen smoothflow
though I have had the handpulled cask is was too long ago to give a fair review
& strangely enough served at a sports social club like the last review
A rusty red coloured bitter with little aroma and a taste that has malt a little bitterness and a metallic tang
On cask a much better affair but not bitter enough for me mean average on scores

Hand-pumped cask ale from the local sports and social club.
A: clear brown with hints of red, minimal foam or head, bit of lacing
S: traditional 'bitter' scent--rustic and malty
T: bitter dominates over any sweetness--not a lot going on here, but more balanced than some bitters I've tried
M: smooth and relatively thin as most traditional cask bitters are
O: this is truly representative of the style but nothing to write home about.
