Beautiful beer: golden amber hue, good head production and retention, almost crystal clear.
Right from the nose, you can tell this is a throwback IIPA: bitter, piney, and citrusy. Additional notes of stone fruit, cracker, white bread, grass, flowers, and honey.
Delivers on the palate, with waves of pine and resin complemented by moderate dankness, grapefruit peel, lemon, and a hint of stone fruit. High bitterness.

Notes via stream of consciousness: Nice label graphics; silly name. It's poured a hazy deep-golden body beneath a massive head of creamy off-white foam. I'm going to have to wait for the head to settle to taste it. Plenty of very fine bubbles can be seen rising steadily towards the surface within. The aroma is fairly bright displaying piney, floral, citrusy, and woody notes. OK, the head has settled and following the final pour I have a thumb's width of rock off-white foam that looks great. It's got a nice balance of malt and hops. The malt is sweetish, grainy, bready, and honeyish while the hops are spicy, earthy, piney, lightly citrusy, and floral. My God! Is this an old school IPA !!! ? WTF, no one makes these any more! I'm just kidding, but honestly they are hard to find. I think it's brilliant!!! I assumed that this was Chinook and it's right there on the label. It's also hopped with Cascade, Simcoe, Amarillo, and Centennial. That all makes sense except for the Amarillo which I'm not really getting. Ah, maybe I'm wrong, there is a kind of orange and apricot to it but it's not like the "Fruity Pebbles" that you can get out of it when it's used at a higher volume; and the pine and spice is definitely overpowering whatever's there. A solid bitterness balances it and it finishes dry and bitter once the malt and fruit fades, which takes about 6 to 8 seconds. Following that the dusty earthiness, spiciness, and pine linger. The alcohol definitely has a presence, and I think part of that lingering spiciness is due to it, but otherwise it never comes right out. In the mouth it's medium-full in body and gently crisp then smooth across the tongue. As it warms I'm getting more tropical fruit out of it. In my opinion this a very solid, well put together DIPA.

-clear amber can pour with a 3 cm foam cap and an aroma of woody malt and lemony hop notes.
The flavor shares strong malt and hop influences. -some orange and grapefruit zest are detected.
The hop bitterness is moderate.
Flavors and bitterness persist in the finish.
I like this one.

Fruity, smooth and not that effervescent. Too many ibus for my liking. Ironically, I would not say know to another but I’m it’s not my first choice from Glasstown.

Had on tap at a local bar. The look is an orange/yellow haze, and the aroma is floral and fruity. The flavor definitely follows from the aroma with some tastes of (definitely grapefruit) and pine with a good hop finish. The high abv doesn't permeate through the flavor too much, but it definitely comes through. Overall, a very good beer that I will definitely seek out and continue to enjoy.

Classic west coast style DIPA. Bitterness is on point with citrus and pine.

I had this on draught in the brewery. Poured into a tulip glass. It pours lovely golden color with orange hues, and one finger of milk-white head and lacing with excellent retention. It is very aromatic with tangerine, mango, grapefruit, pine, and floral hops. This is a delicious DIPA with abundant grapefruit, sweet tropical fruit, pine, and a biting, bitter hoppy finish. It is very dank. It's medium-bodied, pleasantly carbonated, and is substantial with an ABV of 8.5% I was quite impressed. This is a well-crafted and delicious DIPA that blends sweet tropical fruit with West Coast style hoppiness. I can't wait for Glasstown to can this!
