A 500ml bottle with a BB of Nov 2011. Features an image of a Cornish tin mine on the front of the label.
Poured into a Stella chalice. A hazy, light golden hue with plentiful carbonation. Sediment in both glass and bottle indicate the presence of live yeast. Yields a large head of creamy white foam that endures for several minutes. Aroma of light grainy malt with a hint of yeast and faint notes of aromatic hops.
Tastes of light, grainy malt with a mild bitter finish. Subtle notes of hoppy citrus and yeast add to the flavour. Mouthfeel is smooth and prickly; the carbonation adds a good texture. Mild aromatic bitter aftertaste.
A decent pale ale - the flavour is light but has a subtle complexity. Live yeast also adds an extra dimension. Would be perfect on a hot summer's day - worth trying.

brown 500ml bottle, best before 11/11, poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard.
As the name suggests, this is a golden coloured pale ale and looked fine with it's initial full foaming white head. sadly the head fell away before I'd finished my first gulp of the beer.
Citrus hop aroma, almost fruity too.
The citrus in the small carries on nicely into the taste, this is a refreshing ale more than ale for strenght of flavours or depth of body parts.
Taken in my back garden on a rare hot April afternoon, it hit the spot just right.
I've had beers from these boys before, all fine so far.
