A slight hops that is taken over by sweetness that carries the beer to the finish, with grains throughout.

Taste Rating in Words: It's a whitecap wave that never seems to end. Giving you a full day of enjoyable, free, fun.

Pours a clear golden, with a thin off-white head. Aromas of cooked grain. Taste begins with an herbal front, followed by some rye bread, then finishing with a woody, earthy hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is good. Overall a decent Kolsch.

Slightly darker than a lager with a lacy white head that dissipates pretty quickly. The smell is crisp with a nice blend of malt and subtle hops. The taste is pretty typical German lager-style beer. It's good, but doesn't have much going on in the way of uniqueness. Very drinkable. This is a beer that I would like to drink at the beach.

The off-white froth on this one tops out the pils glass big and proper and lasts forever. Color is pale yellow. Fizzy as hell.

Has a pleasant aroma of apricot, grain and straw.

Tastes sweet and fruity up front with a grainy backbone holding it all together and a dose of lingering bitterness for good measure.

Dry and light in body but not as smooth as expected, although still a nice representation of this classic style.

Poured a 12 oz bottle into a Weizen glass. L: small 1 finger head. Fades quick, moderate lacing. Light Amber, translucent, decent carbonation bubbles. Look of a unfiltered wheat beer. S: faint pear, white bread. Crisp clean fresh sweetness. Brown bread Maltiness comes out as it warms. T: less pronounced. Dry rose flavor. Finishes with a slight bitterness. F: crisp mouthfeel. Well lagered Pilsner dry feel. O: This is a well done beer. First time I've had a kolsch. I think they are fantastic, or this is just a superb example.

Pours gold from the bottle with a decent head. There's a fair amount of carbonation, giving it a slightly hazy appearance from the bubbles continually rising. It smells of biscuits, grass and green apples. Medium light mouth due to the carbonation. I'm not a huge fan of Kolsches, but this seems fairly true to style. It's worth a try.

Pours an effervescent gold with 2+ fingers in my Kolsch glass ( too vigorous a pour ). Very nice head retention & lacing

S: Grassyness & apple skin

T: Light grainy/grassy taste, apple skins & dryness up front. Grainy bitterness, a little apple blossom as this warms. Finishes a little grainy, somewhat grassy & bitter, faint hints of pear

MF: Light body, delicate carbonation

Drinks easy, a pretty good take on the style, a little more is required flavor-wise for me to buy again

Pours to a permanent 1/2 inch head and good lacing. Clear gold color. Aroma is spot on with the noble hops, restrained malt and that certain smell that all good Kolsch style beers have: a white wine note. Flavor is dry and crisp and mirrors the aroma. Bitterness is appropriate and mouthfeel is light as expected. This is the best domestic Kolsch I've ever had.
