Appearance:
Pale yellow-gold, clear, thin white head that retains and laces.
Aroma:
Bready, crackery malt and distinctive spicy Saaz hops
Flavor:
Clean pilsner malts, bready and slight white wine note (?), on the dry side for style; aggressive hop bitterness and definite spicy hop flavors that last through the finish.
Mouthfeel:
Light-Medium body, CO2 is nominal and no roughness or astringency.
Overall:
A technically competent, slightly Americanized version of Czech Pilsner that captures the spirit of the style, especially in the hop profile. Recommended.
