The caramel sweetness from crystal malts and light fruitiness of traditional Trappist Ale yeast of our Belgian Dubbel pays reverent homage to the beginnings of this style in ancient monasteries. The addition of Hallertau and Styrian Goldings hops highlight the evolution of a classic style Four Saints has long considered a necessity. We hope you will, too.

Poured on-tap and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a slightly hazed, caramel-copper coloring, with a filmy, white halo of head. Nose of rich caramel, berry, and cherry sweet, herbal highlights, clove, and a bready backbone. Very balanced aromas. Flavors are a spice blend forward, heavy on clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon, quickly followed by sweet caramel, berry fruit notes, banana, and a bready backbone. Smooth, rich, chewy body, with a bready and candi sweet aftertaste. Smith, lingering, cloying finish. Very well put together and very well balanced.
