The warming effect of our Brabant Caramel Quad compliments the great strength and bold flavors of the traditional Belgian malts and three types of hops to bring you a ‘simple, yet complex’ experience. The robust toasty toffee flavors of Caravienne and Munich malts mix with the spiciness of Styrian Goldings and Saaz hops to begin the journey. At the end, the barley sugar caramel is a welcome passenger that adds a level of newness to this revered style.

Had on tap at Melt today.Came in a chalice a deep amber shade with a one finger lighter beige head atop. The caramel is big in the nose along with dark fruit, some sweet/sharp alcohol is big as well. The caramel is prominent up front on the palate wich is great but the alcohol comes into play in a big way in the finish wich takes a little of the luster off the beer. This is still a fine caramel infused quad,it would be amazing if the alcohol flavors were dialed down just a notch.
