Each summer leaves too quickly, and only hazy memories of long days and treasured nights remain. Our Peach Hefeweizen elicits those slight reminiscent smiles from all summers past. The American wheat and barley malts, combined with German Hefeweizen yeast’s essence, finish with the slight hint of fresh Carolina Red Peaches to remind us all that summer is not a time of year, but a state of mind.

Appearance: Arrives very cloudy with a honey color; the head is modest and fades, leaving a few strands behind
Smell: Ripe peaches with bready tones underneath
Taste: Fresh ripe peaches from the get go, with a bready base building underneath; after the swallow, there are hints of banana and clove but the finish is all about the peaches
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; very creamy
Overall: I was a bit hesitant to order this but the peach flavor is terrific and there are some subtle elements, as well, that make the beer a winner
