Spring Seasonal 1994 was a good year in beer history – the double India pale ale was created by revolutionary brewers on the West Coast. At the time, most beers were tame enough for everyone; these innovators proved that the status quo ought to be challenged. Our Soon-to-Be-Named DIPA Munich and Crystal malt robustness is complimented by a hop profile including Columbus, Warrior, and Simcoe hops – for the full hop experience of flavor, aroma, and bitterness. This is our salute to those who came before us, their courage to attempt something new, and their impact on the craft beer industry.

Came a menacing looking slightly murky burnt orange infused amber with a thinner soapy-like slight off white head atop.Resin and drunken tropical fruits stand out in the nose, the alcohol is quite prevalent.A shot of pine resin upfront on the palate then the tropical fruits and sugary sweetness comes in late,I even got a slight leather element in there as well. It's got big hops and the booze seems bigger than it is,it's pretty brash.
