Named after a Randolph County, NC historical figure, Naomi Wise, this beer echos her memory. Favored by many, light in spirit, and deep in character, Omie Blonde Ale is balanced and full of flavor.

Pours a clear dark yellow color. Smells like an ale, nothing stands out. Tastes like an ale on steroids. Mouth feel is light with quick evaporation. Smooth finish. May actually be even better than I am rating it (see story below). Rates a 8 out of 10 on the would you like to sit down with a 12-pack of this brew scale. Downgraded this beer since yesterday. I drank one yesterday and it was quite good, when I opened the beer fridge today, one of the other three had exploded and the tops of the other two had deformed. When I opened one of them it flowed over. I was able to drink most of those two, and it pretty much tasted the same. One other thing that concerned me is that they had labels on the can that said it was packaged on 3/5/19, but the bottom of the cans had a 3/20/18 stamp on them. Don't know what that means. I restored my original rating after contacting Four Saints about the cans and found it to be a TW issue. The beer was packaged in March of 2018, the label was apparently placed on there by TW as some sort of inventory management process. Hell, if a beer tastes that good after sitting for a year, I can only imagine how a fresh one will taste. I will know shortly, as I will be making the short drive down to Asheboro to check the brewery out.
