Aged in Chardonnay bottles for four months.Pours into a stemmed glass a slight chill hazed light golden with a full one finger bone white head that leaves some nice laces as it settles into a soapy-like mass.Vanilla oaky notes come out most in the nose along with slight toast and a light lactic tinge lingering.Light bodied and easy going down but with nice subtle flavor complexity.Toasty oak and vanilla with a light refreshing tartness in the finish, very food friendly.Four Saints maybe my favorite NC brewery only because they have such a wide portfolio and experiment widely, this experiment worked nicely.
