3-finger head with a typical pour from the 16-ounce can purchasd on 8/28/25. As it recedes chunky streaks remain. The liquid is amber colored with a haze.

Mostly pine aroma with hints of citrus rind and tropical fruit.

The start has a darker malt flavor. While it retains its pale malt base, there's enough chocolate or black patent malt to give this a spicy beginning. The body is typical for the style with carbonation slightly elevated. The finish is 90% straight bitterness. The remaining 10% is malt flavors sticking around. In all, it makes it a complex beer.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 11/16/22. Pours lightly hazy golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head. Fantastic retention, dense soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas of peach, pineapple, passion fruit, pear, mango, orange, red berries, melon, bread, herbal, floral, grass, yeast earthiness. Taste of apricot, peach, pear, pineapple, tangerine, mango, melon, passion fruit, red berries, citrus rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toast, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Large sized pine, citrus rind, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carb and body. Balanced bready malt and sticky/resinous mouthfeel. Long resinous drying finish, with lingering astringency. Mild warmth and hop burn after the finish. The untappd says this has mosaic/cascade. But it was a very unique hop profile to me, reminded me of el dorado and/or azacca. Big on stone fruits and berries, the finish is a bit too resinous/oily, but otherwise west coast style. Aggressive and earthy in the taste.

A: Pours a relatively clear medium to dark golden honey in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate copper + golden yellow + orange colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense sudsy foamy beige head that slowly reduces to a small to medium sized patch of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of floral, earthy, tropical/mango, and pine/resin hops over the top of slightly less than moderate aromas of caramel + toasted + bready malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness.

T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of caramel + toasted + bready malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of floral + earthy + pine/resin hops as well as moderate juicy tropical/mango hops. The hops contribute a light amount of bitterness in the finish which lingers slightly.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially slightly crisp with a light amount of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. A pleasant albeit slightly unusual hop profile and enjoyable with the light amount of bitterness in the finish. I could get this one again.
