Collaboration with The Mason Jar Lager Company

While Keller Williams sings to, and about, the Karma Killer, this beer is the exact opposite. Brewed in collaboration with Mason Jar Lager Company, this unfiltered lager (hazy lager, if you're trendy) is lowly carbonated, clean and sweet, and is a little like German pilseners. But this Kellerbier is More Than A Little perfect for North Carolina summer-like weather.

A: Pours a lightly hazy pale to medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate pale amber + bright yellow + honey colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a medium to large sized patch of medium thick film covering a little more than half of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Slightly heavier than moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of bready + grainy malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness along with light aromas of light fruit (apple + pear) yeastiness. Light aromas of grassy hops.

T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of bready + grainy malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness along with light flavors of light fruit (apple + pear) yeastiness. That is followed by light flavors of grassy hops which impart a very light amount of bitterness which fades away fairly quickly leaving a relatively clean finish.

M: Slightly heavier than light bodied with moderate amounts of soft carbonation. Slightly crisp upfront with a relatively clean finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly soft carbonation in the mouthfeel. Enjoyable with just enough malty sweetness along the a hint of light fruits from the yeast and just enough hops to balance it out. Very enjoyable and refreshing on a warm spring evening.
