Had on tap. Opaque light brown with clearer edges, tan cap. This was the highlight of this beer, yikes. Smell and taste are the same: sickly sweet caramel and heavily roasted malt, with prune and date for a second before metal and overdone yeast destroy the palate. Feel is all wrong: way too much roast yet watery and malty despite yeast flavors, booze leaks too. I had others I was with try it to make sure it wasn't me, but they agreed, an anathema of a quad, gave it back to the bartender, something I have only done once before.
