A: pours a clear yellow-gold with a finger of white head that recedes into a thin ring with little lacing.
S: light Belgian spice notes up front with some bubblegum and candy sugar aromas. Light fruit aromas (pears and bananas) follow with a sweet, bready finish.
T: Belgian spices up front again followed by light bubblegum and candy sugar flavors. Some slight fruit flavors in the middle with a bready finish.
M: medium body with high-ish carbonation, this beer is a little on the thick side for my tastes, but not so much so that it's unenjoyable like many American tripels.
O: a pretty decent tripel, especially for a new brewery. It's a bit on the thick and sweet side for me (which I've come to expect from most American tripels), but not extremely so.
